Context

To mark the 75th anniversary of the Migros Vaud cooperative, the objective was simple, yet ambitious: to offer a timeless interlude. An experience that brings people together, resonates, forges connections and, above all, allows everyday life to slip quietly into the background. The choice of our playground ? The Vaudoise Arena, with its towering stands and a 1,800 m² ice rink. A vast stage to fill — without leaving a single crack for reality to sneak in. To transform the venue, Oh My Time designed a decor worthy of a spaceship, to propel 2,000 guests into another dimension.

OMG

The spaceship has left Lausanne, Switzerland, Earth. On board: 2,000 guests, 30 artists, and the OMT quartet determined to turn the evening into an unforgettable experience.

Cruising speed achieved and everything is perfectly orchestrated. The projection mapping transformed the ice rink into a living screen, telling the story of the journey. Each projection, synchronised to the second with the music and performances, plunged the guests into a universe where reality and fiction merged.

To make this journey captivating:

  • A bespoke visual universe designed to dress the full 1,800 m² of ice, blending futuristic storytelling and animations;
  • Technical precision, where mapping, sound effects and stage performances were interwoven thanks to rhythmic beats hidden in the tailor-made soundtrack.
  • Down-to-the-second scheduling, meticulously planned using a dedicated Excel sheet to ensure every sequence launched at the exact right moment.
